There have been so many beautiful reviews written about this book from my goodreads friends that I am just going to add a few more comments. I decided that I am not going to say "goodbye" to the Hathaways because I hope to see them again in future series. I have grown to really love this fictional family over the course of the books and I cannot believe we have finished it. Christopher Phalen was another perfect match for eccentric Beatrix and I would not have wanted anyone else for her. He really defines the term "tortured hero" and I was so happy when he finally found some peace in his life. Beatrix was good for him and I think they brought out the best in each other. It was so much fun catching up on the other family members and I was surprised about how many funny lines there were in the book. Of course, Leo was the one that had the most of them and it was great seeing how he and Cat were doing (along with their adorable twins). Cam still is a hero that I think is hard to compare others too. Of course, I still love Merripan and Harry too! I wish we could have seen more of Harry in this book because he has become a favorite of mine as well. I did not think any series by any author could eclipse the love I had for the Wallflowers, but the Hathaways certainly did. I am just looking forward to what Lisa Kleypas has in store for us next!!!
