Wow!!! I don't even know where to start with this book. "Scent of Darkness" is the first Christina Dodd book I have ever read. I knew from the very first page that this was an author I was going to enjoy. I immediately got swept up in the universe she created and I have truly found a gifted writer. I can only think of a few other writers that have created this feeling for me and she is now included in that group. I liked Ann's character and sympathized with her loneliness before she met Jasha. She was sensible, intelligent, and self-deprecating and I appreciated that in a heroine. Jasha was a strong (alpha male) character and I liked how he noticed small details about Ann before they ever became romantically involved. I feel like words can't even do justice to this series and I am so anxious to read the next one after this!
