My Sunshine - Catherine Anderson I loved this one and it has turned out to be one of my favorites in the series!
Fifty Shades of Grey - E.L. James I loved it...I loved it...I loved it!!!
Gifts of Love - Lisa Kleypas, Kay Hooper This is for Lisa Kleypas' story called "Surrender"...I loved it!!!
Wicked in Your Arms - Sophie Jordan I loved it! This book is why Sophie Jordan has become one of my FAVORITE authors. I can't wait for Cleo's story next!!! It was definitely a strong 4.5 star book for me.
A Lady's Lesson in Scandal - Meredith Duran This is the BEST historical romance I have read this year (Hands Down)! A full review to come...!!!
When Beauty Tamed the Beast - James Griffin, Eloisa James I am just going to jot a few lines down right now about this story and will come back later to write a more detailed review. I will sum this story up by saying "I loved it!" This is the BEST Eloisa James book I have read and it had everything I love in a story. The witty banter between Linnet and Piers was terrific and the love story that unfolded kept me reading late at night. I did not expect the twist at the end with Linnet's illness and I think that gave this story a lot of depth. The biggest problem I have right now is not knowing what to read next! How do I "top" a book like this one? I would recommend this to all of my goodreads friends who like reading historical romances because this one definitely delivers!!!
Too Wicked to Love - Debra Mullins This was more of a 3.5 stars book for me, but I rounded it up to 4 stars.
Just Like Heaven - Julia Quinn I loved it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I love it! I think that expresses how I felt about this book. This is one of my favorite Julia Quinn books I have read (and there have been some "hits and misses" for me) and I cannot wait until the next book is released. I would recommend this new series to anyone who enjoyed the Bridgerton books (there are even a couple of Bridgerton family members that make an appearance in it...Yay)!!! If you do not have a copy of it yet, run do not walk to go get it...Seriously!
My One and Only - Kristan Higgins I loved this book!!!
Snowfall At Willow Lake - Susan Wiggs I loved this one in this series and it is funny because I was not looking forward to it at all (Sophie was not a sympathetic character in the previous books). I think these books get better with each one!!! I am looking forward to continuing with the series!
Kiss an Angel - Susan Elizabeth Phillips This is definitely one of my favorite (if not favorite) Susan Elizabeth Phillip books I have ever read. I was not sure I would like the circus theme, but it totally drew me in. I think it was Daisy's sweetness and Alex's vulnerability that made this story so wonderful. I will absolutely be rereading this book again in the future!!!
Match Me If You Can - Susan Elizabeth Phillips I loved this one...My favorite Susan Elizabeth Phillips book, yet!
Shadowfever - Karen Marie Moning Wow! My mind is still spinning from everything I learned in this story. This book was absolutely everything I had hoped it would be and was definitely worth the wait. I could not have wanted a better or different ending for any of it and Ms. Moning is a truly gifted author. Mac will always be one of my favorite heroines and I feel like I am saying good-bye, but I have a feeling I will see her again (probably just a little) in the new series. This book was such an emotional read and I am totally at a loss for words right now (something that is rare for me)! I plan to write a more detailed review about this book and all the characters after I have had some time to sort through my thoughts.
Summer At Willow Lake (Lakeshore Chronicles, #1) - Susan Wiggs To all of my "Virgin River" goodreads friends: Run...do not walk to get this book (if you have not already)!

Wow! I am so happy to have accidently stumbled upon this author recently. The "Virgin River" books by Robyn Carr are one of my favorite contemporary romance series and I am always looking for another series like it. I have found it with these books by Susan Wiggs! The story is told with a combination of flashbacks and present day situations. I was not sure I would like it and I found myself loving it! Summer at Willow Lake also tells the story of other characters that are related to the main ones. I loved Lolly and Connor's relationship. As the book unfolds, we learn that they had been each other's first love at Lolly's grandparents' Summer camp. Connor grew up in a difficult household and Lolly did too. The circumstances were totally different, but that was one of the bonds they shared. I could go on and on about how much I loved these two and why this story worked for me, but I will not bore any of my goodreads friends who are kind enough to read my review! I just want to add one more quick point in case anyone is wondering...This story was not as steamy as maybe some of the "Virgin River" books, but I enjoyed it just as much. It definitely was a romance and I am anxious to read more!
Call Me Irresistible - Susan Elizabeth Phillips This was a strong 4.5 star book for me and it was fun finding out what all of the other characters have been doing since I last read about them. If you enjoy Susan Elizabeth Phillips, you will like this book!
How to Marry a Duke - Vicky Dreiling This was a strong 4 star book for me and I am definitely looking forward to the next one in the series. The story lost a star because some of the words used were not really from the Regency period (I usually do not mind it in stories, but it was a little too much in this one). Also, the ending was a bit anti-climatic and there was a lot of back and forth between the hero and heroine before their HEA. I know that probably does not make sense to anyone that has not read it, but overall I really enjoyed it.
